The honey coloured sheeting is plywood and the rest is fibro which has been painted a red/terracotta colour. Bit adventurous for us Jells!
We've waited such a long time for this house and now that building has commenced I thought our family and friends would like to see its progess.

Plywood and Fibro Walls
The Back Deck
The sliding door at the end is Les' and my bedroom. Beside it is where the laundry will be.
The larger of the sliding doors is entrance to the living area. The smaller door is the entrance to the kitchen.

A Few Bits and Pieces
Went looking at bathroom cabinets and toilets on Saturday plus tap fittings, kitchen sinks and cooktops. It's all a bit overwhelming. I was glad to get home. Today Les went to the auctions and bought tap fittings and a shower hose for the downstairs shower in his workshop. Roof should be finished by Friday 22nd July. All being well that is!

Finishing the Kitchen Wall
It was very, very noisy today while the boys were working on this wall.
I'm not mad yet, but well on the way!

Update
Here I am back again with an update. Have been slow in getting these photos on the blog. These are photos of the new be-fold door in the kitchen. There's actually light in the kitchen now and we have a view even if it is only of the site.
By the way the rain still keeps on falling!

Progress
Progress has come to a halt because it hasn't stopped raining! Darn! The quarry looks like the beginnings of a dam. The roof for the existing house has been delivered, but there again the builder couldn't start that because of the rain.
Now it's the day before Easter and the rain seems to have stopped. I am glad for the campers. I just hope it's gone forever so our house can be built..
